Originally a passionate hobby, Jera developed a deep affection for all things sweet at the age of 15 while cooking delicious dishes in her parents' kitchen. Initially baking cakes exclusively for friends and family, she later established her own Instagram page named 'Jera Bakes' in 2016.

Three years later, in 2019, Jera Bakes experienced a turning point as her Ube cream and Mango Graham cakes gradually gained recognition among fellow food enthusiasts on Instagram. With the continuous love and support for her desserts, she managed to cultivate a loyal customer base, allowing her hobby to evolve into a full-time occupation.

Fast forward to 2021, we embarked on a new adventure! Our co-founder Chris joined us in our sweet journey and contributed to our rebranding with a fresh and stylish appearance. With his design expertise, our brand soared to new heights. And yes, he also lends a hand in the kitchen, truly a jack of all trades!

Recognising the untapped potential of our brand, we have made a highly anticipated comeback in 2023. While still offering our beloved classic cream cakes, we are expanding our selection and introducing a range of new desserts and flavours to delight your taste buds.
